Passeggiata dal Duomo di Milano fino a Porta Venezia - Walking tour along Duomo square and Venezia street

Passeggiata storico-artistica in esterno, lungo il percorso da piazza del Duomo caratterizzata dai portici e dal monumento a re Vittorio Emanuele II° e che collega il Duomo (cattedrale di Milano) con la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II°; visiteremo in esterno il Duomo, uno dei simboli della città di Milano, cuore religioso della città e ricco di storia e arte soprattutto architettonica e scultorea.

Percorreremo poi corso Vittorio Emanuele II°, che collega il Duomo con piazza S. Babila, caratterizzato da vari negozi e dalla presenza della chiesa di S.Carlo al Corso e dei resti delle Terme Erculee.

Da piazza S. Babila, dove visiteremo in esterno la chiesa di S. Babila che dà il nome alla piazza, percorreremo corso di Porta Venezia, che sarà il termine del nostro giro, caratterizzato da palazzi ottocenteschi e dalla presenza dei Giardini Pubblici, del Museo di Storia Naturale e dal Planetario.

Historical-artistic walking-tour in external, from Duomo square, characterized by the two covered walkways and by the monument of king Vittorio Emanuele II, that links the Duomo (the Cathedral of Milan) to the Gallery Vittorio Emanuele II; we'll visit by external the Duomo, one of the symbols of Milan, religious heart of the city, rich of history and architectural and sculptural art. We'll walk then along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, that links the Duomo with S. Babila square, characterized by various shops and by the presence of the church S. Carlo al Corso and by the rests of the Herculean Thermal Baths.

From S. Babila square, where we'll visit in external the church of S. Babila that gives its name to the square, we'll walk along Corso Venezia/Venezia street, our final destination, characterized by 19th century buildings and by the presence of the Public Gardens, the Historical Science Museum and the Planetarium.
